Project DEAL in Germany Reaches Agreement with Springer Nature Elsevier is now the only big scientific publisher that hasn’t struck a bargain with the German consortium of libraries and research institutions. Dated 1 January 2020, the agreement provides OA publishing services and full reading access to Springer Nature journals to scholars and students from across the German research landscape.
